Second Saturday WinterMarket
We are no longer accepting applications for the Wintermarket season of 2020. In 2020-2021 we will be automating the process using online forms, and setting a cut off date for applications as the vendor applications need to be finalized in the beginning of October. Continuing to accept applications runs the risk of over saturation, and duplicating vendors which is not profitable for all vendors and may violate some seller's company contracts. Thank you for understanding as we work to better the Market every year.

Shop for local food and goods straight from Illinois farmers and producers, even in the Winter. We are working in partnership with the Sugar Grove Farmer's Market as well as other Illinois producers and vendors to provide a WinterMarket that will be held every "Second Saturday" in the cold months.
Last year we had a host of food producers, local eggs and honey, beef and meat, clothes, jewelry, handcrafts and more. Please note that produce is limited in winter. We hope that to grow even bigger this year and patrons enjoy the festive browsing experience, support local small business and have a relaxing day in the Library. Our children's department will also be collaborating with the market to host Read to Rover and other craft days or events on these Saturdays.
Please download complete the documents to submit participate in the WinterMarket. You may send it to the attention of the Library Director by emailing Shannon@sgpl.org. Please call 630-466-4686 for questions or suggestions.
Space will be made available for vendors, no entry fee. Six-feet tables are available for each vendor, additional tables available dependent upon space. The Library is offering the space free of charge in partnership with the local community and to contribute to the rich tradition of farming, small business and craft tradition of the surrounding Kaneland area. We may limit vendors according to space, and do not intend to doublebook similar product/companies.
A donation to the Friends of the Library will be suggested should your market sales be successful. Vendors wishing to participate will need to be prepared to set up their table and clean the meeting room space when done. The Library will work to promote the Wintermarket to the community, and welcomes input and suggestions. All applicable sales taxes and regulations are the sole responsibility of the vendors.
