Kids Programs
Library programs are for kids too!
The Youth Services Department offers a wide variety of programs for kids from birth to age 11. Check out our full calendar for current program listings. Some of our regular offerings include:
Early Childhood (0-6)
- Storytime: Share books, rhymes and songs with our trained youth services staff! Baby & Toddler (0-3), Family (0-6), and Preschool (3-6) storytimes are designed to promote foundational pre-reading skills, because it's never too early to read together.
- Sensory Play: Our monthly Messy Mondays program is a place for young kids to explore with their senses. Dress to get messy!
- Play Group: Looking for places to meet other caregivers? Want to give your child (0-3) a chance to socialize with other kids? Try our Tiny Tots playgroup, meeting monthly on the fourth Monday.
School Age (5-11)
- Interest clubs: Our popular LEGO and Pokémon clubs provide a place for school-age kids to explore their favorite interests with other kids.
- Book clubs: Read great books and do fun activities as we discuss what we've read.
- Fun activities: Crafting, science, art, and just plain fun! Come explore new projects and favorite subjects.
